Sture Myrmell Named as New CLIA Australasia Chair

Following its Annual General Meeting in Sydney today, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia announced the appointment of Carnival Australia President Sture Myrmell as the association's new chair.Mr Myrmell replaces Steve Odell who has held the position since 2016 and wished his successor well during his inaugural tenure at the helm of the association.

With more than 1.34 million Australians taking an ocean cruise in 2017, CLIA Australasia Managing Director Joel Katz said cruising had now become the quintessential modern Australian holiday.
