Swan Hellenic partners with CLIA in Australasia

Expedition cruise line Swan Hellenic has partnered with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) to support its presence in Australia and New Zealand, joining as a Regional Cruise Line in Australasia. The partnership brings Swan Hellenic into CLIA's wider Australasian cruise community, made up of cruise lines from around the world as well as travel agent members from across Australia and New Zealand.

One month to go: CLIA agents get ready to celebrate

The biggest cruise industry celebration of the year is now just one month away, and judges are making their final deliberations in preparation for the 20th Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Cruise Industry Awards for Australasia. A total of 73 finalists from across Australia and New Zealand will be in the running to win one of cruising's highest honours on 11 March when the industry comes together for its biggest party in more than three years.

CLIA Masters Program opens for top cruise specialists

CLIA is preparing to welcome its first intake of Masters candidates for 2023, allowing top cruise specialist travel agents to gain the association's highest qualification. Beginning March 20, the latest Masters Program will offer a six-week course designed to help travel agents stand out as cruise specialists and move into an environment beyond mainstream selling.

Cruise360 Australasia heading to Brisbane in 2023

7 December 2022

The Southern Hemisphere's biggest annual cruise industry event will make its long-awaited debut in Queensland next year when Brisbane hosts Cruise360 Australasia for the first time. Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia has announced Cruise360 will be held at Brisbane's Royal International Convention Centre on Thursday September 7, 2023, preceded by a welcome cocktail party on Wednesday September 6. Super-earlybird tickets are now available.
