One month to go: CLIA agents get ready to celebrate

The biggest cruise industry celebration of the year is now just one month away, and judges are making their final deliberations in preparation for the 20th Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Cruise Industry Awards for Australasia. A total of 73 finalists from across Australia and New Zealand will be in the running to win one of cruising's highest honours on 11 March when the industry comes together for its biggest party in more than three years.

CLIA LIVE cruise showcase set to tour Australia and New Zealand

CLIA has announced its popular CLIA LIVE education series for 2023, bringing together travel agents for in-person training across Australasia. Dates have been confirmed for events to be held in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland, each providing a chance for CLIA members to gain valuable sales insight into multiple cruise lines in the one forum.

CLIA Masters Program opens for top cruise specialists

CLIA is preparing to welcome its first intake of Masters candidates for 2023, allowing top cruise specialist travel agents to gain the association's highest qualification. Beginning March 20, the latest Masters Program will offer a six-week course designed to help travel agents stand out as cruise specialists and move into an environment beyond mainstream selling.

CLIA Australasia has announced the finalists for the 20th Cruise Industry Awards ahead of a sold-out celebration in March. Cruise360 Australasia heading to Brisbane in 2023

The Southern Hemisphere's biggest annual cruise industry event will make its long-awaited debut in Queensland next year when Brisbane hosts Cruise360 Australasia for the first time. Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia has announced Cruise360 will be held at Brisbane's Royal International Convention Centre on Thursday September 7, 2023, preceded by a welcome cocktail party on Wednesday September 6. Super-earlybird tickets are now available.

CLIA wins top education award at NTIAs

Announced at a gala dinner in Sydney on Saturday night, the award recognises CLIA's extensive professional development program and the role it has played in supporting travel agents through the pandemic era.
