Tim and Jane Parsons have a Tasmanian ancestry spanning 200 years and operate a farm and agritourism business near Hamilton, north-west of Hobart, offering farm-stay cottages and farm tours.
The farm spans 750 acres and runs up to 3,000 sheep for meat and wool, as well as growing crops of seeds and pharmaceutical medicine. About 12% of the farm is under conservation, with forest areas providing a home to native wildlife.
We host about 800 cruise passengers per year to Curringa Farm for traditional Aussie BBQ lunches, sheep shearing demonstrations, dog shows and farm tours.
