October Is Cruise Month

HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF CRUISE MONTH

Getting actively involved in Cruise Month can help to increase cruise sales, visibility of your business and get consumers talking about cruise! And with October just around the corner, we thought we’d share some tips on how you can get the most of Cruise Month

1. FOLLOW CLIA SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS

We’ll be posting different content for each channel, so be sure to follow CLIA on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn so you don’t miss any a thing.

2. THE CRUISE MONTH AGENT TOOLKIT

Make the most of the content available in the dedicated Cruise Month agent toolkit. From videos, guides and fact sheets, everything you need for a successful Cruise Month is in the toolkit. Access the toolkit by clicking the Cruise Month button in the Members Hub.

3. USE CRUISE MONTH GRAPHICS

We have created graphics that you can use on your social media that are in line with our weekly themes. You’ll find these in the Cruise Month Agent Toolkit. Be sure to post these graphics – and lots of your own pictures and stories - throughout the month.

4. ARRANGE YOUR OWN SPECIAL CRUISE EVENT

To ensure that the opportunities that cruise holidays offer are front of mind as customers start to look at their next break, we are encouraging all travel agents to hold a special cruise event during Cruise Month. This type of event can do wonders for your business - it is a great way to keep in touch with existing customers and entice some potential new customers, hopefully converting some non-cruisers! To help you organise a successful cruise event, CLIA has created a ‘How To’ Event Guide - available in the Cruise Month Agent Toolkit

5. COMPLETE A CLIA TRAINING MODULE (OR TWO)

The cruise industry is constantly evolving with new innovations, itineraries and experiences added to cruise holidays constantly. Why not take the opportunity in Cruise Month to set some time aside and tick off a few CLIA training modules

6. CHECK YOUR LISTING

Where possible we will be asking customers to enquire with their local CLIA member – so do click on the agent search link on the homepage of cruising.org.au and ensure the details for you are up to date!
