Cruise Month Competition Terms & Conditions

 

Terms & Conditions

 

  1. This competition is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Meta or any other Meta affiliates. 
  2. By entering this competition, you agree that your images or content may be used in upcoming marketing campaigns alongside your first name and/or agency name.
  3. This competition is only open to agents of Australia or New Zealand aged 18 years and over who are members of CLIA.
  4. By entering this competition, all entrants indicate their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  6. Entries may be submitted starting at 12am on 29 September 2024. Closing date for entries will be 11:59pm on 26 October 2024. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. 
  7. To be entered for your chance to win, you must:
    1. Tag @CLIAAustralasia
    2. Include the competition handle #CruiseMonth2024
  8. You may share multiple events for multiple chances to win.
  9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  10. CLIA reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter, and all data gathered during the competition will be destroyed.
  11. CLIA is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by an unassociated or unauthorised third party.
  12. The prize is valued up to AU$4,900 and includes:
    • 2 single seat tickets to the 22nd Cruise Industry Awards in Sydney, Australia
    • 2 economy round trip flights to Sydney, Australia from the winner's nearest gateway (PER, ADL, MEL, HBA, CBR, BNE, CNS, DRW, AKL, CHC, WLG) and for residents outside of NSW only. For residents in NSW, transfer from hotel to the event
    • Hotel accommodation for two people in Sydney, Australia for 2 nights at a five star hotel.
  13. A winner will be chosen based on the most original or unique event and the most creative and engaging shared content.
  14. The winner will be notified by social media direct message the week of 28 October 2024.
  15. The winner will be contacted by email to confirm the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, CLIA reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 
  16. CLIA will notify the winner how the prize will be distributed.
  17. CLIA’s decision in respect to all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. 
  19. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with the current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  20. You are providing your information to CLIA Australasia and not to any other party. 
  21. Entrants are responsible for any and all expenses that they incur in entering the competition.
  22. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  23. A “team” event is defined as hosting an event for members/employees of your agency to educate and inform them around the Cruise Month tools and resources and how to best promote Cruise Month to their professional networks. 
  24. A “client” event is defined as hosting an event for your professional network of clients that help increase interest or introduce them to cruising and the offerings available to them for booking.
