CLIA Masters program takes cruise specialists to the next level

CLIA has welcomed its first intake of Masters candidates for 2025, taking 60 of the region's top travel agents towards the association's highest qualification. The Masters Program is a six-week course designed to help travel agents stand out as cruise specialists and move into an environment beyond mainstream selling. Participants learn how to pursue new revenue streams, create a unique brand differentiation, and forge a unique position in a competitive retail landscape.

Stuart Allison joins CLIA Hall of Fame

Respected cruise line executive Stuart Allison has been inducted into the industry's Hall of Fame at the 22nd annual Cruise Industry Awards for Australasia, recognising his leadership role in the cruise sector for more than 25 years. In front of hundreds of guests at a gala celebration in Sydney hosted by CLIA on Saturday, Mr Allison was announced as the 19th member of the Hall of Fame by Peter Little, the Chairman of CLIA in Australasia and Senior Vice President and Country Manager for Carnival Corporation.
