Cruise360 to welcome biggest-ever audience in Brisbane

This year’s sold-out Cruise360 Australasia conference will be the biggest cruise industry gathering ever held in this region, with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) set to welcome more than 850 delegates in Brisbane this week.

Over Wednesday and Thursday, the conference will offer its biggest-ever line-up of international speakers, as well as an expanded Cruise360 Australasia Trade Show involving more than 50 exhibitors from among CLIA’s cruise line members and executive partners.

“This week’s Cruise360 Australasia conference will not only eclipse our last event in Brisbane, but it will also be the biggest cruise industry event ever held in this region,” said CLIA Managing Director in Australasia Joel Katz. “Our travel agent membership is bigger than ever and very clearly focused on the opportunities available in cruising, so we have a packed program ready to help inform and inspire them.”

This year’s 10th anniversary Cruise360 Australasia has been extended to two days and will take place under the theme Navigate, Innovate, Excel.

It will open with CLIA’s visiting President & CEO Bud Darr presenting a keynote State of the Industry address, followed by more than 30 other cruise leaders and other industry experts from around the world and across Australia and New Zealand.

Sessions will cover the full spectrum of international cruising, including presentations and interviews on global trends, the expanding luxury cruise sector, the fly-cruise market, and emerging opportunities among Gen Z travellers.

A series of panel discussions will combine international leaders with regional experts, offering insight into expedition cruising, the trends shaping cruise itineraries, myths and misperceptions in river cruising, and how to create successful career paths for the consultants of tomorrow.
