Nominations close tomorrow for 23rd Annual CLIA Awards

November 20, 2025 – Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has issued a last-chance call for nominations for the 23^rd Annual Cruise Industry Awards for Australasia, with the deadline for entries approaching at midnight tomorrow night.

“We know there’s an enormous amount of talent and dedication among our members, so this is an important opportunity to stand up and make sure this is recognised,” said CLIA Managing Director in Australasia Joel Katz. “The CLIA awards are an important celebration of our community’s most passionate members, and we’re looking for as many nominations as possible to ensure we see the full extent of our membership’s talent.”

Fourteen award categories will be judged in the 23^rd Annual Cruise Industry Awards for Australasia, including nine open to peer- or self-nomination.

The winners will be announced at a gala celebration on Saturday 7 March, 2026, to be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney for the first time.

“Now is not the time to be modest – we’re encouraging all our committed members to get involved, nominate themselves or nominate a colleague, and be a part of the celebrations,” Mr Katz said.

The Cruise Industry Awards are open to all current CLIA travel agent members in Australia and New Zealand, with nominations closing at the end of Friday 21 November 2025. This year’s categories are:

• Cruise Agency of the Year (Single Location/Brand) – Australia
• Cruise Agency of the Year (Single Location/Brand) – New Zealand
• Cruise Agency of the Year (Multi-location/Brand) – Australasia
• Online Cruise Agency of the Year – Australasia
• Cruise Consultant of the Year – Australia
• Cruise Consultant of the Year – New Zealand
• Home-Based (Mobile) Cruise Agent of the Year – Australia
• Cruise Broker of the Year – New Zealand
• Rising Star – Australia
• Rising Star – New Zealand
• Agency/Agent Cruise Promotion of the Year – Australasia
• Network Cruise Promotion of the Year – Australasia
• Cruise Month Promotion of the Year – Australasia
• Media Award – Australasia
